She was predeceased by: her siblings, Art Applequist, Lorraine Spicak and Dolores Kummer; and her daughter Jennifer Ann Link (Ward). She is survived by: her children, John Ries (Eileen), Jane Gottardi (Larry) and Richard Ward; her sisters, Doretta Borsha and Doreen Merker; her grandchildren, David, Matthew, Andrew, Sarah Gottardi, Colleen Ries, Christine Macella (Michael), Karen Iwanski (Michael) and John Ries (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Caitlin Macella, Madelyn Macella, Caroline Iwanski and Benjamin Iwanski.
