He is survived by: his spouse Alice Polhman Newsom; his child Douglas "Rocky" Newsom (Abby) of Farmington, MO; his siblings, Raymond Newsom (Peggy) of Vandallia, IL, Harold Newsom (Barb), Bessie Miller and Mary Krueger of St. Louis, MO; and his grandchildren, Katryn Brinkley, Jake Brinkley, Nick Newsom and Nathan Gonz.
