He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Henry May and Francis Ellen Davis; his wife Joann V Payette; his children, Cassandra Jo May (Steven Horman), Joyce A, Gamble, Charles H May (Paula Burnett) and William B May (Grace Bommarito); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jenna Gamble, Nicole, Robert Paige, Stephanie Horman, Michael Mueller, Claudia, Amelia May and Olivia May; and his great grandchildren, Devin, Adrian and Rylan Paige.

Memorial contributions may be made in Charles' name to American Cancer Society.
