He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna Wagener; his parents, Virgina Wagener and Leonard Wagener; his children, Chris Wagener (Chrysa), Greg Wagener (Laura), Anne Giambalvo and Beth Nelson (Mitch); his grandchildren, Emma Kay, Logan, Dominic, August, Owen, Blake, Lillian, Gavin, Harper and Reid; and his brothers, Bill Wagener (Pat) and Tom Wagener (late Barb).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gary's name to Disabled American Veterans.
