He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna Steed; his parents, Gloria Steed and Robert Steed; his son James Michael Steed, Jr. (Heidi); his siblings, Barbara Oliver (late Jack), Robert Steed, Jr. (Kitty), Carol Green (Lenny), Patricia Nobles (late James), Betty Satterley (Robin) and Jacqui Steed; his grandsons, Colin Steed and Nathan Steed; and his daughter Paula Steed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James' name to the American Cancer Society.
