It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Kay Hargis of OFallon, Missouri, born in West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert L. Cook and Freda Cook (Crawford); and her brother James Cook. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Hargis; her children, Kathy Hamilton (Jimmy Woods) of O'Fallon, MO, Christy Meyer (Steve Watkins) of Wentzville, MO and Roni Kay Solimando (Jason) of Wentzville, MO; her grandchildren, Kyle Hamilton (Yvonne), Kristopher Hamilton, Nicholas Meyer (Rachel), Reese Diesel, Ashton Diesel, Joey Solimando and Alyson Solimando; and her great grandchildren, William Hamilton, Colton Hamilton, Benjamin Hamilton, Samantha Hamilton and George Meyer.
