She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hudoc and Ruth Hudoc. She is survived by: her children, Tristan Claxton and Bethany Claxton; and her brothers, Michael Hudoc, John Hudoc and Matthew J. Claxton. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Memorials may be made in Karin's name to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
