She is survived by: her parents, Bryan Emerson and Renee Emerson of O'Fallon; her sisters, Zuzu, June, Wendy and Diana Emerson; her grandparents, Steve, Melinda Emerson, Ray and Beth Roberson; and her aunts and uncles, David (Karen French), Lauren Roberson, Brandon (Amanda Emerson) and Blake (Victoria Emerson).

Memorials may be made in Kit's honor to The Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation.
