He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Novel and Lorene Novel; and his sibling Dean. He is survived by: his wife Angelia Novel; his children, Cindy Louise MacKusick (John), Kenneth Harry Novel, Jeffrey Lynn Novel (Brenda), Karen Michelle Hamby (Gino) and Dawn Renee Cook (Barak); his grandchildren, Erica, Richard, Jessica, Kacey, Jeffrey, Dustin, Chelsey, Phillip and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Morgan, Brandon, Ethan, Caleb, Jackson, Audrey, MacKenzie, Kristopher, Sophia, Liam, Sara, Amanda and Quentin; his siblings, Charles Novel and Nancy Wade (Charles); and his sister-in-law Paulette Novel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
