He is survived by: his wife Vera Bigham; his children, Donna Marx (Terry) and Don Bigham; his grandchildren, Jennifer Rieker and Matt Bigham; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Bella and Lilly Rieker.
Memorials may be made in Monroe's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
