He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanna Gray; his parents, Norma Joyce Gray-Ritchie and Peter Rygaard Gray; his stepdaughters, Alexandra Scheiderer (Nathan) and Abigail Lewis; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cooper and Charlotte; his siblings, David Gray (Becky), Eric Gray (Ginny), Nancy Perkinson (Bruce) and Phillip Gray; his siblings' children, Megan, Molly, Henry, Mariel, Beck, Sydney and Laurel; his close friend Anthony Pearson (Jen); his godson Dylan; Chelsea, Breanna and Gwen.

Memorials may be made in Peter's name to KIVA, an organization that Peter often supported.
