It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Robert Dieckmann of OFallon, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Ellen Dieckmann; his wife Verda Dieckmann; his brother Norman; and his parents, Otto Dieckmann and Virginia Dieckmann.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Campbell (Randy), Kurt (Roberta) and Paul; his grandchildren, Steven, Brianna, Danny, Paige and Samantha (Kenny); his great grandchild Bentley; and his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Dieckmann.

Burial services will be private for immediate family only. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart.

Donations may be made to Mercy Hospice, St. Louis Richard will be laid to rest in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
