He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sofia Garcia; his children, Sylvia Gonzales (Jacob), Vanessa Perez, Sammy Muniz Jr., Veronica Muniz, Monica Muniz, Matthew Muniz and Kimberly Muniz; and his siblings, Israel Muniz (Yolanda), Diane Lopez (Eddie Barrera), Monique Gusman (Bert) and Fabian Lopez.
