He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ruth Gunn; his wife Julia; his children, Christy Lucas (Jonathan), Heather Edwards (Grant) and Ryan Gunn (Michelle); his father Marion Gunn; and his siblings, Jim Gunn (Linda), Tom Gunn (Carol), Dennis Gunn (Michell), Curt Gunn (Jennifer), Marsha Johnston (Robin) and Melanie Claborn. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the family with funeral expenses.
