It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter David Blackwell of OFallon, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Julian "Bud" Blackwell and Marilyn "Dumps" Jorgensen Blackwell; and his brother Dane Blackwell. He is survived by: his sister Diane Blackwell; his former wife Jackie Blackwell; his children, Christina Hunter (Roberts) and Walter Benjamin Blackwell (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Amanda Stewart, Charles Hunter (Stephanie), Madeline Hunter, Amy Messersmith (Nick) and Emma Blackwell. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family requests no flowers.
