She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Weddle and Amy Boles Weddle; her husband Delbert Bishop Sr.; and her son Bruce Bishop. She is survived by: her sons, Delbert "Dean" Bishop Jr. (Patti) of Dexter, Jeffrey Bishop of St. Louis and Tim Bishop (Deborah) of Oran; her grandchildren, Beau Bishop (Crystal) of Dexter, Megan Wilson (Danny) of Dexter, Jessica Bishop of Lincoln and Nicholas Bishop of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; her great grandchildren, Madison, Shelby Bishop, Liam, Emery and Pearce Wilson; her great great grandchild Daisy Marie; and her sister Kathy Bishop of Chaffee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (6137 Co Rd 525, Jackson, MO 63755).
The family suggests that contributions be made to New Bethel Church Cemetery or the Alzheimer's Association.
