With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ila Brown of Overland, Missouri, born in Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on August 20, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Monovitz and Joseph Monovitz; her husband Spencer Brown; and her children, Steven Brown and Cathy Lowenstein.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Brown (Stan Spector) of Rochester; her son-in-law Lon Lowenstein of Overland Park; her grandchildren, Jessica Spector of Rochester, Lane Lowenstein (Jenna) of San Carlos, Paige Lowenstein of Chicago and Sari Lowenstein of Kansas City, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Caleb and Ross Lowenstein.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Center at the Jewish Community of Greater Kansas City.
