He was predeceased by: his wife Elinor; his parents, Morris Friedman and Frieda Friedman; his sister Helen Sweet; and his brother-in-law Phillip Sweet.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Friedman (Sondra) of Leawood, David Friedman (Diane) of St. Louis and Marsha Friedman of Overland Park; and his grandchildren, Adam, Micah, Jeremy, Lily and Rachel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kehilath Israel Synagogue.
