She is survived by: her former spouse Hanan Steinzeig; her son Peter; her daughter-in-law Hilarie Steinzeig; her grandchildren, Daniel and Shayne; her daughter Stacy Steinzeig Smith; her son-in-law Dale Smith; her stepchildren, Courtney Smith, Kyle Smith and Luke Smith; her sister Debera; her brother-in-law David Leckner; her siblings, Pamela Dahlgren and Bart; her sister-in-law Susan Cohn; her brothers, Donald Cohn and Michael; her sister-in-law Nancy Fine; her brother Steven; and her sister-in-law Beatrice Fine.
Susan also took great joy in feeding her grandchildren and showed them that waffles could be a good foundation for homemade ice cream, not just the usual toppings.
