Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Scherer of Owensville, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 76, on April 7, 2021. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Joan Scherer; his parents, Anne Scherer and George F. Scherer, II; his children, Bethany Daniels (Matthew) and Chris Scherer (Michelle); his grandchildren, Aiden Christopher, Evangeline Michelle and Annabella Rose; and his siblings, Gary Scherer, Steven W. Scherer (Mary) and Deborah Scherer. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart.

Memorials may be made in George's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
