He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Rees and Virgie Rees (Harmon); his daughter Melinda; his wife Betty; and his brother Buck Rees.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Mallon of Springfield, MO and Randy Rees (Deb) of Cabool, MO; his siblings, Dwayne Rees (Jean), Betty Ream and Jenny McKinney (Glen); and his grandchildren, Erik, Stacie Rees of Waynesville, Jamie, LeeAnne Ussery of Springfield, Kelley Chandler of Mt. Vernon and April Dawson of Springfield. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
