She was predeceased by: her parents, Burney Murphy and Helen Murphy (Lee); her granddaughter Katherine Chaffin; and her brothers, Burney Dean and Paul Murphy.
She is survived by: her husband Ray; her sons, Carl Chaffin (Margaret), Mike Chaffin (Nancy), J. B. Chaffin (Deanna) and Jody Chaffin (Angie); and her siblings, Wayne Murphy (Verna) and Carolyn Thomas (Gene). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
