He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulet E. Wood and Leota Wood (Garrison); his wife Joanna Bacorn; and his stepfather Frank Harris. He is survived by: his cousin Fred Haynes; his daughters, Cindy Venable of Ozark, MO and Debbie Shattuck (Mike) of Ozark, MO; his siblings, Robert Wood of Buffalo, MO and Holly Frasher (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Kylie Gallegos (Daniel), Jesika Venable (Caleb Clem) and Wyatt Shattuck; his daughter Faye Griffin of Detroit, MI; his granddaughter Taylre Garrison (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Parker, Paxton Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM and Evan Clem. He is also survived by relatives and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
