He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd McCoy and Arline Estes McCoy; the mother of his children Joan O. Wright; his wife Helen Marie McCoy; and his daughter Ronna A. Kelly.

He is survived by: his children, Mike McCoy (Libbi), Robin Loo and Tim M. McCoy; and his sister Betty Brown. He is also survived by five granddaughters; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; two step sons; other caring relatives and good friends.
