He was predeceased by: his former wife Laverne Doss (Starnes); his wife Wanda Doss (Huffstedtler); and his parents, Mary Brown Doss and John E. Doss of Ozark. He is survived by: his sisters, Joneva Patterson and Janice Bilyeu; and his children, John R. Clark, Mary D. Peters, Sherry S. Butler and Crystal G. Woodson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
