He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Thompson and Evaline Thompson (Marler); and his former wife Kay. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Odom; his children, Bill (Barbara Thompson), Debra (Rollan Stewart), Cathy (Randy Tate) and David (Sherrie Thompson); his son-in-law Leonard; his daughter Norma Thompson; and his stepson Jim (Linda Odom). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one brother.
