He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry B. Gibson and Maude Gibson (Jennings); his former wife Barbara Gibson; his daughter Debbie Ellis; and his siblings, Granvill, Bobby, Hank, William Paul, Leota, Louise, Lola Mae and Frances.
He is survived by: his son Dan Gibson of Branson; and his sister Pauline Holcomb. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
