He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Shirley Melton; his children, Sherry Lynn Breshears, Troy Lee Phillips, Lisa Gaye Shepherd and Kelly Fore; his adoptive daughter April Roberts; his close friend Norman Jantz; his former wives, Shirley Jean and Wilma; his daughter Margret May; his mother Maxine Heinbuch West; his stepfather Raymond West; his father Chester Phillips; his granddaughter Kendal Fore; and also Wilma. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren.
