He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernie Heatherly and Beulah Heatherly (Dye); his former wife Patricia Ruth Goos; his wife Patty Heatherly (Goos); his daughters, Gayle (Tim Maples), Gina (Curt Hewitt) and Tyla Heatherly of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.; his grandchildren, Crystal, Nicole, Lane (Whitney), Jeremy (Kelly), Krista and Alex; his great grandchildren, Canon, Carter, Lowen, Raelee and Grayson; and his brothers, Gary (Darlene), Wandal (Janet) and Larry (Karen).
Under the latest Coronavirus Pandemic, Barnes Family Funeral Home is under the guidelines of NFDA and the state governed mandate policy regarding COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Selmore Cemetery Fund.
