He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Martin and Mona Pauline Schroeder (Grisham); and his brother-in-law Jorund Vedal. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Sonja Jones (Marvin), Stacey Albin (Trey), Jerry Schroeder (Amanda) and Samantha Schroeder; his grandchildren, Connor, Ashley, Evan Jones, Zachary, Tyler, Taylor Albin, Paxton, Natalie and Ansley Schroeder; and his sister Sally Vedal.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bower Chapel Cemetery Fund.
