He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Mount and Vera Mount (Gilbert); his son Gene Mount; and his siblings, Elwin, Paul, Vernon and Edna Schultz.
He is survived by: his children, Vonda Miller of Sterling, Illinois and Larry Mount (Teresa) of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Rachel Miller of Shawano, Brandon Miller of Sterling, Jesse Mount of Chicago, Justin Mount of St. Louis, Jeremy Mount of Austin, Justin Bennett (Sharon) of St. Louis and Trista Tapia (Gabe) of Rock Falls, Illinois; and his stepgrandchildren, Dane, Locklear (Willy) of Springfield, Joshua Harris of Chicago and Shanna Palmer of Sterling, Illinois. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
