He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Henry and Mildred Claudine Briscoe Reschke; his former wife Carole Blew Reschke; his son Alan Reschke; and his siblings, Lawrence, Kenneth Reschke, Hazel Taylor, Veda Mae Reser, Betty Butler and Eula Hebert.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Anne Cussen; his son Christopher Reschke (Jill); his grandchildren, Mia and Lucy of Leawood, KS; his daughter Theresa Newbold (Brian); his grandchildren, Faith and Lane of Woodbridge, VA; his daughter Sherri Oldham (Tim); his grandchildren, Mathew, Rachel and Mysteria of Springfield, IL; and his sister Juanita Moss of Burlington, WI. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
