She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Calvin and Viola Mae Zollman (Rice); her husband David Lee Hestand; and her siblings, Ray Zollman and Leona Lowe.

She is survived by : her children, David L. "Butch" Hestand, Jr., Donnie C. Hestand (Dianna Mullins) and Jeanne Burgin (T. J.); and her sister Bonnie Henderson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
