She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer York and Flora "Racine" York (Rodgers); and her husband Joe. She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Neumayer (Denis) of Monett, MO and Soni Copeland (Jim) of Pierce City, MO; her grandchildren, DesiRey Prost (Brad) of Springfield, MO, Danielle West (Russell) of Independence, KS, Josh Copeland (Rhonda) of Monett, MO and Jennifer Gold (Austin) of Pierce City, MO; and her sister Evelyn "Evie" York of Monett, MO.. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House in Joplin, MO in memory of Joe and Peggy Lower.
