He is survived by: his children, Melissa Steele Moran (Keith) of Parkville, Kristi Yates (Steve) of St Joseph, Jennifer Boomgarden (Jeff) of Centerville, IA, Jeff Phipps of Plattsburg and Wendy Kreidler of Olathe; and his siblings, Bruce Phipps of St Joseph, MO, Ted Phipps of Des Moines, IA and Carol Miester-Canady of St Joseph, MO. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grand children.
