He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Carter and Lois Carter of Plattsburg. He is survived by: his children, Erica Hardy (John), Denver, Zoe Carter and Tony Ambriz of Kansas City; his grandchildren, George and Eloise Hardy; his siblings, William Carter (Rozanna) and Donna Howard (Jerry); his nieces and nephews, Shauna Bachmeier Marietta (Kyle), Lisa Howard Plattsburg, Derek Carter Kennesaw of Plattsburg, Doug Howard (Angela) of Plattsburg and Stacy Howard of Plattsburg; and his great-nephew Miles Bachmeier.
