He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Chester and Icil Maxine Porter (Steele); his wife Frances Ann Beghtol; his son Harry Douglas Porter; and his brothers, Garry Porter, Harry Porter and Jerry Mikel Porter.
He is survived by: his son Dwayne Bary Porter (Bob Jackson) of Gravois Mills, Missouri; his grandson Austin MacGyver Porter (Julia) of Blue Springs, Missouri; and his siblings, Terry Porter of Ridgecrest, Danny Porter of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Mary Briggs of Hannibal, Missouri.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Hill Lay-Clergy Love Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
