He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Vernon, Jr. and Dorothy Mae Yancey (Frith). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Swinson of Pleasant Hill; and his children, David Yancey, Jr. (Angela) of Killen, Starla Sullivan (John) of Alpharetta, Christopher Gene Walker of Pleasant Hill, Lin Yancey (June) of Killen and Daniel Clyde Walker (Misty) of Kansas City. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three sisters.
