It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie L. (Andes) Allen of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Cleo and Ada Belle Andes (Clark); her husband Larry Lee Allen; her sisters, Deloris Hamilton and Charlene Roscher; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Allen (Brenner).
She is survived by: her children, Larry Lee Allen, Jr. of Alabama, Cynthia Postnikoff Johnson of Missouri, Ross Richard Allen of Missouri, Carolyn Sue Comer (Teri) of Missouri, Gregory Patrick Allen of Missouri, Todd Raymond Allen of Kansas and Bradley Thomas Allen of Colorado; and her sister Geraldine Choate of Missouri. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many, many friends.
