He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward S. Volmer and Gladys Volmer (Hull); and his siblings, Lenore Fager, Mary Jo Sevart, Eileen McAtee, Ida Ruth Fager and Eugene Volmer (Alfred).
He is survived by: his wife Harriett Volmer; his sons, Randy (Shanda Volmer), Lynn (Abby Volmer), Kevin Volmer of Kansas City, MO and Eric (Liz Volmer); and his sister Marcena Volmer of Edmond, OK.. He is also survived by 7 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 2 great-grand-daughters.
