With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Hitt (Pleasant Hill, Missouri), who passed away on August 18, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard V. Stalnaker and Elsie May Stalnaker (Franklin); her husband Leo Harley Hitt; and her siblings, Edward J. Stalnaker, Mary O. "Dolly" Macrae and Eileen M. Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, John Allen Hitt of Lee, Linda Marie and Timothy Gilbert; her grandchildren, Jeff Wilson (Lynne) of Kansas City, MO, Kimberly Wilson of Shawnee, KS and Savannah Webber (Chris) of Pleasant Hill, MO; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, Nick, Joe, Remi and Esme; and her brother-in-law Douglas T. Hitt of Lee. She is also survived by other relatives; and a host of many friends.
