She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Frieda Anna Bertha Maynard (Soathoff); her husband John Louis Porter; and her sisters, Esther Porter, Gladys Bell and Maxine Hershberger.
She is survived by: her children, John H. Porter (Cynthia) of Jacksonville, Ala, Nina Faye Miles of Republic and Jacqueline Marie Walker (Tracy) of Ft. Worth, Texas; and her sister Margaret Vaughn of Harrisonville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Building Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
