He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Sprinkles and Lucy Fay Sprinkles (Gallyon); his wife Mildred; his son Harvey D. Sprinkles, Sr.; his grandson Harvey D. Sprinkles, Jr.; and his brother Billy John Sprinkles.
He is survived by: his sons, John and Robert "Bob" Sprinkles of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Johnny D. Sprinkles of Pocatello, Michael, Michelle Jones of Holden, Lacy, Wisdom of Buffalo, Missouri, David, Dalton, Charlene, Dakota, Faith, Zak and Austin; his brother Clarence; and his foster daughter Brenda K. Robinson of New Bern. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
