It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lee Gaug of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, born in Harrisonville, Missouri, who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer M. Gaug and Winifred Gaug (Gresham); his daughter Belinda Gaug; and his brother-in-law Darrel Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Van Gorkin; his son James Bradley Gaug of Harrisonville, MO; his daughter-in-law Brenda Richardson; his siblings, Elmer M. Gaug, Jr. (Martha) of Meadville, MO and Alma Cowan of Raymore, MO; and his siblings' children, John Gaug (Shelby), Ruth Berends (David) and Mary Ann Taylor (Tim). He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews; and two step-daughters.
