Jean Teegarden Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Teegarden (Pleasant Hill, Missouri), who passed away on January 28, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac N. Thomas and Lilly M. Thomas (Dinges); and her siblings, Harold Thomas, Bessie Gulick, Lonnie Thomas, Elva Packard and Jacob Thomas.

She is survived by: her husband Donald Dean Teegarden; her daughters, Denise White (Rick) of Lee's Summit, Linda Day (David) of Lee's Summit and Anita Bleich (Michael) of Leawood; her grandchildren, Jennifer Truman (Andrew) of Leawood, Alyson James (Jesse) of Leawood, Jeremy Beach (Robin) of Shawnee, Michelle Volkmer (Gus) of Blue Springs, Tamara Atwell (Tim) of Lee's Summit and Jacob Bagby (Abboud) of Lenexa; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Grady, Timothy, Levi, Caiden, Samuel and Lochlyn; and her nephews, Col. Michael Thomas and Ronnie Bush. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
