He was predeceased by: his parents, Leve Virgil and Lelia Marie Ponder (Connell); his wife Norma Jean Ponder; his siblings, Virgil J. Ponder, Kenneth Ponder, Carl Ponder and Flora Cusick; and his siblings-in-law, Don Cusick and Roberta Ponder.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Brock of Cleveland, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jon Kirby (Kimberly) of Cleveland, Missouri and Jessica Kirby of Harrisonville, Missouri; his sister-in-law Dorothy Ponder of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Elijah and Grace Kirby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
