He is survived by: his wife Alice of Pleasant Hill; his son Charles McCarty; his daughter-in-law Vickie McCarty of Pleasant Hill; his daughter Tricia Lansdale; his son-in-law Doug Lansdale of Independence; his grandchildren, Bryon Gillespie of Grain Valley, John of Pleasant Hill, Berry of Pleasant Hill and Jeremy Berry of Pleasant Hill; and his sister Willadene Kinnaman of Apple Valley, Minnesota. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
