She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Matthes and Hilda Matthes (Fredrickson); her husband Charley; her siblings, Walter Matthes, Jr. and Elizabeth Hanicke; her daughters, Ann Tribble of Pleasant Hill, Nancy, Spoon of Springfield, Janet and Ott of Houston, Texas; her sister Pauline Shull of Mesa, Arizona; and her sister-in-law Adabel Matthes of Harrisonville. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
