He is survived by: his sons, James W. and John R. Johnson of Grandview, Missouri; his grandchildren, Meagan Johnson of Indianapolis, Johnson Niemisto of Hopkins, Karri Johnson, Reilly Johnson of Grandview and Hillary Johnson of Des Moines, Iowa; and his great grandchild Rowan Cloud Johnson Smith of Indianapolis. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
