He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Everett and Effie Christine Findley (Gregory); his wife Helen Elam; his siblings, Naomi Smith, MaryAnne Greene, Donald "Butch" Findley and Norma Crist; his son-in-law Charles D. Houston; and his grandson Charles Nathan Findley.
He is survived by : his children, Kathy Ballard (Steve) of Kansas City, MO, Karen Houston of Rayville, MO, Sheryl Findley of Pleasant Valley, MO and Michael Findley of Missouri; his siblings, Billy Findley, Jim Findley, Donna Marguerite Fields, Shirley Goetz and Carol Jenkins; and his grandchildren, Melanie Houston, Michelle Zuercher, Merrideth Malone (Zuercher), Miranda Zuercher, Keith Houston, Jason Zuercher, Amy Winters (Findley), Toni Greim (Findley), Vincent Serafini, Sarah Findley and Austin Findley. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Disabled American Veterans in care of the funeral home.
